Fighter pilot Michael Denison, poor chap, thinks he has sunk a British submarine while patrolling the skies over the English Channel. The court thinks so, too, and he gets transferred to desk duties and unburdens his guilt to barmaid Patricia Plunkett who decides to prove he actually sank a German sub. Love blossoms, of course, but only after Miss Plunkett is convinced that a barmaid could ever court someone so dashing and so upper class as Michael Denison. Laurence Harvey can also be glimpsed in this dainty item from a vanished era of British war movies.
