Simon Barnes

Simon Barnes is a sports and wildlife writer, and is the author of a number of books including <em>A Bad Birdwatcher’s Companion</em>, <em>How to be a Bad Birdwatcher</em>, <em>Ten Million Aliens</em>, <em>The Sacred Combe</em>, <em>The History Of The World in 100 Animals</em>, as well as the recently published <em>The Green Planet</em>, which accompanies <a href="//www.discoverwildlife.com/news/how-to-watch-the-green-planet/”">the BBC series</a> presented by <a href="//www.discoverwildlife.com/people/10-facts-you-probably-didnt-know-about-sir-david-attenborough/”">Sir David Attenborough</a>. He is a council member of the <a href="//www.worldlandtrust.org”">World Land Trust</a>, and a patron of <a href="//www.savetherhino.org”">Save the Rhino</a> and honorary vice-president of the <a href="//www.bumblebeeconservation.org”">Bumblebee Conservation Trust</a>.
