Comedy starring Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis and the voice of Seth MacFarlane. When young John Bennett's wish that his beloved toy bear Ted could come to life is granted, the two become inseparable. But as they grow older, although not necessarily more mature, the potty-mouthed furry one starts to get in the way of John's other relationships.
This vulgar but hilarious offering from Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane also finds him voicing the titular teddy who's anything but sweet and innocent. A few will be appalled by the filth that spills from this pot-smoking bear's furry mouth, but there's something endearing about the deep devotion he shows his owner, a 30-something slacker played by Mark Wahlberg. The premise may seem outlandish, but underneath it all is a conventional story of the battle of wills that rages between Wahlberg and his girlfriend Mila Kunis over his refusal to grow up. Flash Gordon star Sam J Jones also features in an uproarious cameo, while Giovanni Ribisi turns the humour a shade darker as Ted's stalker, making you laugh and wince simultaneously.
