Injuries from military service leave a young man in a wheelchair, embittered and isolated in his London flat, until the power of friendship brings him hope in this British indie starring co-writers Sebastian Street and Stuart Brennan. Street plays the struggling veteran, curiously named Tesla, while Brennan is all manic energy as Sky, his new best friend - whose erratic behaviour suggests that he has secrets of his own to hide. Good intentions abound here, but unfortunately the central duo make for a somewhat wooden combination in the acting stakes - notwithstanding all the emoting on show. Meanwhile, their messy script gets bogged down in their respective love lives, about which we care very little, before a final-reel reveal that's not quite as surprising as it should be. Quite an achievement for the team to have Martin Scorsese on board as one of 10 (!) executive producers, but, sadly, the movie is so poor across the board, it has scant claims on our attention.
