Hans Christian Andersen's The Snow Queen gets the full Disney-princess treatment in a dazzling fairy-tale adventure. Broadway star Idina Menzel voices Elsa, the princess whose magical frostiness is so dangerous that she is separated from younger sister Anna (Kristen Bell). After becoming queen, Elsa reveals her chilling powers in a fit of rage, causing her kingdom to suffer continuous winter, and flees to the mountains. Anna proposes to find her and reverse the magic, so, together with a handsome swain, his trusty reindeer and an eternally optimistic snowman (a wonderfully funny Josh Gad) she journeys to the mountains. Full of vivid action, sharp comedy and even a surprising twist, this also boasts superb show-tune songs by Robert Lopez including the Oscar-winning Let It Go.
