Tom Hardy, Nicholas Hoult and Charlize Theron star as rebels in this dusty adventure movie based on the 1979 Australian dystopian action film. Fury Road will see high-octane car chases against yellow dunes, this time filmed in Namibia, rather than the Australian desert.

Set for release: May 15th

9. Cinderella

Disney’s latest retelling of the classic tale, starring Helena Bonham Carter, Richard Madden and Cate Blanchett, has been filmed all around England in the nation’s wild forests, and heritage properties. Look out for the Old Royal Naval College, Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire and Cliveden House in Buckinghamshire on screen, then visit them for real.

Set for release: March 27th

8. In the Heart of the Sea

This biographical thriller film, staring Chris Hemsworth, Cillian Murphy, and Tom Holland, follows the story of a 19th-century New England whaler whose crew go on a traumatic battle for survival after their ship is demolished by a giant whale.

Set for release: December 25th

7. Autobahn

Felicity Jones, Nicholas Hoult and Anthony Hopkins have teamed up for this European chase thriller involving an American backpacker who gets caught up in a Munich drug smuggling ring, while trying to find a way to pay for his girlfriend’s surgery. Filmed around Cologne, Monschau and other parts of Germany.

Set for release: Autumn 2015

6. Jurassic World

The fourth film in the series will be released 13 years after the original movie, and will star Chris Pratt as Owen – a rugged ex-military man who tries to save the day after dinosaurs break loose (again). Hawaii's Oahu and Kauai, plus an abandoned theme park in Louisiana (the creepy Six Flags New Orleans), double for the tropical and futuristic Jurassic World on Isla Nublar, an island 120 miles off the coast of Costa Rica. In real life the setting is the same, but a lot safer.
