New on Netflix UK January 2025: All the upcoming shows and films
It's another busy month for the streaming service.
A New Year has, for the second time in a row, been kicked off by a big new Harlan Coben show on Netflix, with this year's offering being Missing You, starring Rosalind Eleazar and Ashley Walters.
However, it's not the only major series coming to the streamer this month – other additions include highly anticipated new seasons to shows including XO, Kitty, Castlevania: Nocturne, The Recruit and The Night Agent.
Of course, as well as returning shows there are also some brand-new titles coming to the streamer, from films such as Back in Action to series including American Primeval.
Meanwhile, for wrestling fans it's a huge month, as Netflix's partnership with WWE officially kicks off, and hours on content hit the platform, both new and archive.

- Don't Die: The Man Who Wants to Live Forever (2025) - Documentary film by , Chris Smith told through intimate access to Bryan Johnson, a man who has dedicated his life to defy aging.
- The Love Scam (2025) – Italian comedy film about two brothers who plan to scam a wealthy heiress and save their home in Naples.
- Missing You – New Harlan Coben series about a woman who finds her missing husband on a dating app, more than a decade after he disappeared.
- WWE Collection - A huge amount of archive WWE programmes are being added to Netflix this month.
Thursday 2nd January
- Stranded with my Mother-in-Law season 2 - New season of the Brazilian reality series.
Friday 3rd January
- Love Is Blind: Germany season 1 – New season of the German version of the reality dating format.
- Selling the City season 1 – Reality series from the creators of Selling Sunset and Selling The OC, looking at the world of luxury real estate in New York City.
- Umjolo: My Beginning, My End! (2025) – South African romantic comedy film.
Saturday 4th January
- When the Stars Gossip – South Korean series about the relationship between a space-tourist and an astronaut on a space station.
- WWE Smackdown – Brand-new season of the hit wrestling series.
Tuesday 7th January
- The Breakthrough – Swedish crime drama about a detective who teams up with a genealogist to solve a case.
- Gabriel Iglesias: Legend of Fluffy - Stand-up comedy special with Gabriel Iglesias.
- Jerry Springer: Fights, Camera, Action – Two-part docuseries telling the story of The Jerry Springer Show.
- WWE Raw – Brand-new season of the hit wrestling series.
Wednesday 8th January
- Fake Profile season 2 - New season of the Colombian romantic thriller series.
- WWE NXT – Brand-new season of the hit wrestling series.
Thursday 9th January
- American Primeval – Western series set in America in 1857, starring Taylor Kitsch and Betty Gilpin.
- Asura season 1 – Japanese drama set in 1979 Tokyo, in which four sisters uncover their aging father's affair.
- I Am Ilary season 1 – Italian reality series following Ilary Blasi.
- The Upshaws season 6 - New season of the sitcom starring Wanda Sykes.
Friday 10th January
- Ad Vitam (2025) – French thriller film about a man searching for his wife, who has been kidnapped by a mysterious group of armed men.
- Alpha Males season 3 - New season of the Spanish comedy series.
Saturday 11th January
- Baban Baban Ban Vampire season 1 – Japanese anime series.
- Sakamoto Days season 1 – Japanese anime series.
Tuesday 14th January
- Single’s Inferno season 4 - New season of the Korean reality dating series.
Wednesday 15th January
- Public Disorder season 1 – Italian crime drama series following the members of a riot squad.
- With Love, Meghan season 1 - Lifestyle programme produced by and starring Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.

- XO, Kitty season 2 – New season of the rom-com spin-off to the To All the Boys film series.
- Castlevania: Nocturne season 2 - New season of the acclaimed anime series, itself a spin-off/follow-up to Castlevania.

- Back in Action (2025) – Action-comedy film starring Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz about two married ex-spies who jump back into the world of espionage when their cover is blown.

- Shafted season 1 – French comedy series about four middle-aged male friends fumbling their way through life.

- The Hooligan season 1 – Polish series about a young man who struggles not to follow his father's hooligan footsteps.
Thursday 30th January
- Mo season 2 – New season of the comedy-drama series created by and starring Mo Amer.
- The Recruit season 2 – New season of the spy adventure series starring Noah Centineo.
Friday 31st January
- Lucca's World (2025) – Mexican family film about a woman who, determined to help her son who has cerebral palsy, takes her family to India for an experimental treatment.
- The Snow Girl season 2 – New season of the Spanish mystery thriller series.
