How to watch Elf online and on TV this Christmas 2023
It's good news if you have Sky...
Alongside another modern Christmas classic in Love Actually, Will Ferrell’s Elf is celebrating a landmark twentieth anniversary this year – and remains every bit as much of an essential Yuletide watch as when it was first released in 2003.
Last year, the film's screenwriter David Berenbaum spoke exclusively to RadioTimes.com about the "rare and special" legacy of the festive favourite, revealing that "I'm very satisfied with the way that people have embraced it into their homes".
The beloved tale tells the story of Buddy (Ferrell), a human who was raised alongside Santa’s elves in the North Pole and makes the epic trip to New York when he learns of his true identity, desperate to track down his father whom he discovers on Santa’s naughty list.
Walter (James Caan) is less than impressed when his son arrives in the city, but can Buddy win him over with his heart-warming festive cheer, and help him embrace kindness in time for Christmas?
With the holidays just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to revisit this much-loved film – here’s how you can watch the film on TV and on streaming platforms over the Christmas period.
