Summary
"Outnumbered" is a semi-improvised sitcom set in London following the adventures of two middle-class parents engaged in a battle of wills with their three children. It explores easily recognisable situations that have the potential to turn into a nightmare - such as getting the children to be on their best behaviour at family gatherings and being stuck at an airport for hours on end with nothing to do. Hugh Dennis and Claire Skinner play embattled parents Pete and Sue, and their children are Jake (Tyger Drew-Honey), Ben (Daniel Roche) and Karen (Ramona Marquez). Created by Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkin ("Drop the Dead Donkey"), it premiered on BBC One in 2007 and ran for five series.
