The British mobile and broadband provider has a handy scheme in place to save you money in the case of multiple devices or mobile phones plans.

If you add another device to an existing EE account, you'll get up to £12 a month on additional SIM and Airtime plans.

You can also save 10% on connected tablets and laptops.

The multi-line discount applies to anyone with an EE qualifying plan and is perfect way of keeping all your family devices in one place – no extra passwords or logins to worry about.

Intrigued? We thought so, here's a closer look at how to get this multi-line discount.

Yes, you can add another device to your existing EE account.

As long as you have an EE account with an existing plan that does not have a multi-line discount – also known as a qualifying plan – you'll be able to add an additional device.

What’s the benefit to adding a device to your existing account vs creating a new account?

The main benefit of adding a device to an existing account is that you'll get a multi-line discount – meaning money will be taken off your bill each month.

EE gives up to £12 towards your additional SIM or Airtime plans taken with Flex Pay. Or, a 10% discount on pay monthly plans for tablets and laptops.

Plus, it's simply more convenient to have all your devices (or family's devices) under one log-in. Then you won't have to faff around with multiple bills, and it will be much easier to manage your devices when they're all assigned to one provider.

Lastly, when you have multiple devices in an account you can gift data to other phones and plans, so no need to stress if someone in your family runs out when out and about.

How to add another device to your EE account

If it's your first time setting up an EE account, then once you have an EE ID you should be automatically prompted to link products.

However, if you already have an account and want to add more devices, you'll need to shop online for a device or plan, call 150 from your EE phone, pop into an EE shop, or log in to EE or the EE app, and then a guide will take you through it.
