Summary
"The IT Crowd" is Graham Linehan's award-winning sitcom about the calamities faced by three members of a company's information technology department. Set in the offices of Reynholm Industries, geeky technicians Moss (Richard Ayoade) and Roy (Chris O'Dowd) are supervised by relationship manager Jen (Katherine Parkinson). When Moss and Roy receive calls asking for help, their common response is "have you tried turning it off and on again?" The department is located in a dingy, messy basement, while the building's other employees enjoy panoramic views of London in modern offices upstairs. Moss and Roy are socially inept technicians while Jen is completely illiterate about computers, but managed to successfully bluff her way through her interview. Chris Morris has a recurring role as Denholm Reynholm, the founder of Reynholm Industries. In the second series, Douglas Reynholm (Matt Berry) inherits the company. Noel Fielding has a recurring role as a Goth who ends up being confined to the server room in the basement. It premiered on Channel 4 in 2006.
