Elite season 8 cast: Meet the characters in the Netflix teen drama
The Spanish series returns for its final season – here are the new and returning faces.
The final season of Elite is upon us! The eight concluding episodes are available to stream on Netflix right now, bringing the rollercoaster young adult drama to an emotional conclusion.
The series began by following working-class scholarship students in the prestigious Las Encinas school for the super-rich, where rules are easily broken and things routinely spiral out of control.
Since then, the show has operated a revolving door for its ever-changing cast, with some of the more recent additions becoming almost as beloved as the esteemed originals.
Two who remain a key part of the show in season 8 are Omar Aysuo (as Omar) and Mina El Hammani (as Nadia), the latter of whom returns to the show this year after a long absence. But what does that mean for her character?
Read on for everything you need to know about the key players in Elite and where else you've seen the cast before.

Alas, the relationship did not work out, but they remain friends.

Speaking about the end of the Spanish teen drama, he told Queerty: "To be honest, I don’t feel like I’m saying goodbye to the series because I already said goodbye when I left at the end of the fifth season.
"Although much of the team is the same, for me the original series is the original cast. While I am still on Élite, for me it is like another project. It’s actually like I’m doing a spin-off."
Mina El Hammani plays Nadia Shanaa
Who is Nadia? Nadia is Omar's sister and another original character, who attended Las Encinas before moving to New York. She returns for the final season to bring the story full circle.
What else has Mina El Hammani been in? She has worked on several Spanish-language Prime Video original productions, including Hernán, El internado: Las Cumbres, and the upcoming Historias para no dormir.
