Pam & Tommy UK release date and time: How to watch in the UK
Lily James and Sebastian Stan will star in the eight-part miniseries dramatising the release of "the first ever viral video".
Lily James (Pursuit of Love) and Sebastian Stan (Winter Solider) lead the cast in the new Hulu miniseries Pam & Tommy.
The series chronicles the story of Pamela Anderson’s marriage to musician Tommy lee in the Nineties, during which their sex tape was stolen and leaked online in what was regarded as the first ever viral video.
While first-look images and footage from the trailers have left fans stunned by James’s transformation, some fans have criticised the series for not directly involving Anderson.
However, in a new interview with Porter magazine, James said: “I was really hopeful that [Pamela] would be involved. I wish it had been different. My sole intention was to take care of the story and to play Pamela authentically.”
She then claimed that she had personally reached out to Anderson before playing the actor.
“I was very hopeful that we would be in touch right up until we started filming," she said.
James also said she admired Anderson for remaining strong in the face of misogyny. “Women are held to much higher standards and attacked in ways that feel so vicious,” she said. “Pamela had such wit and grace in the way that she held herself. I admire that strength.”
Pam & Tommy was criticised last year by Anderson’s friend Courtney Love, who claimed it was exploiting a “disgusting” invasion of privacy that “destroyed my friend Pamela’s life”. Anderson is yet to comment publicly on Pam & Tommy.

Pam and Tommy UK release date and time
Pam & Tommy premiered on Disney Plus UK through their Star label on Wednesday 2nd February 2022.
This is the same release date as the US on which the show will be released on streaming service Hulu.
The first three episodes will premiere on the first day of release with the subsequent five episodes following each week.
How to watch Pam and Tommy in the UK
Pam and Tommy is being released on Star via the Disney Plus platform from Wednesday 2nd February 2022.
The remaining five episodes of the eight-episode series will be released on each consecutive Wednesday on the series.

An official trailer for Pam & Tommy has been released by Hulu.
It features Lily James and Sebastian Stan in their roles as the iconic couple, whilst we also see Seth Rogen and Nick Offerman as they portray the theft of the couple's infamous sex tape.
Pamela can be seen worrying about the leak of the tape as Tommy tries to allay her fears.

The latest trailers, which emerged in the new year, not only showcase the actors in their roles, but also give us a glimpse at the drama that occurred after the sex tape was made public.
The trailers include footage of Rogen and Offerman as Rand Gauthier and Uncle Miltie, who came to be in possession of the tape, and show their efforts to profit from it – and sell it online.
Who is in the cast of Pam & Tommy?
Lily James is going to be playing the former Baywatch star. After undergoing a staggering transformation to resemble Anderson for the role, this will be the most daring performance of her blossoming career yet. James is most notable for playing Cinderella in Kenneth Branagh’s live-action film adaptation of the fairy tale and recently appeared on BBC One playing the lead in The Pursuit of Love. Her other credits include Downton Abbey, War & Peace and Netflix’s remake of Rebecca.
Playing James’ on-screen husband and Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee will be Sebastian Stan, best known for playing Bucky Barnes in the MCU. He too has undergone a dramatic transformation to look like the heavy metal rocker who is known for his spiky jet black hair, piercings and tattoos. Stan can also be seen in Logan Lucky, The Martian and I, Tonya.
Seth Rogen will also appear in the miniseries as Rand Gauthier, the electrician who stole the couple's sex tape. For the role, Rogen has shaved his beard and looks almost unrecognisable in costume. Best known for his comedic roles in films such as Superbad, Pineapple Express and The Interview, Rogen has also dabbed in dramatic work by playing Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak in Steve Jobs.
Parks and Recreation star Nick Offerman will also appear as Uncle Miltie, a porn impresario who buys the video of the couple.
Rounding out the main Pam and Tommy cast will be former Orange is the New Black lead Taylor Schilling who will play adult film actress and wife of Rand, Erica Gauthier, and Fear Street's Fred Hechinger as Seth Warshavsky, an American pornographer and the founder of Internet Entertainment Group (IEG).
Behind the camera, Craig Gillespie will direct Robert Siegel and DV DeVincentis's script.
