It's almost here! Greenleaf is about to reach its dramatic climax Stateside and for fans of the series who've been holding out patiently for a UK release for the fifth and final season, the wait is almost over.
Greenleaf follows the story of the eponymous family, who run a megachurch in Memphis, Tennessee with a largely African-American membership base. The family is led by Bishop James and Lady Mae, whose estranged daughter, Grace, suddenly returns home after 20 years when her sister mysteriously dies.
In the show's final eight episodes, Grace and the Greenleaf family must lay the past to rest once and for all as God's plans for the future unfold.

When is Greenleaf season 5 on Netflix?
In the US, season five of Greenleaf debuted on OWN on 23rd June, with the eight-part final season concluding on 11th August.
The good news for UK fans is that, following the US broadcast, the entire season will be available to stream on Netflix – from 12th August.

Greenleaf season 5 cast: Who is returning?
The main cast includes Keith David (Community) and Lynn Whitfield (How to Get Away with Murder) as Bishop James and Lady Mae respectively, while Merle Dandridge (Sons of Anarchy) plays their troubled on-screen daughter, Grace.
Desiree Ross (Falling Skies) plays Grace's own teenage daughter, Sophia, while Lamman Rucker (Meet the Browns) appears as her uncle Pastor Jacob, who has dedicated his life to the church despite his true dream being a career in baseball.
Rounding out the rest of the Greenleaf family are Kim Hawthorne (Da Vinci's Inquest) as Jacob's wife, Kerissa, and Deborah Joy Winans as youngest daughter, Charity.
Beau Bridges (Homeland) joined the cast in the fourth season as the head of Harmony & Hope Ministries, looking to take the Greenleaf megachurch under his banner.
Notably, icon of film and television Oprah Winfrey appears in Greenleaf in a recurring role as Lady Mae's sister, while also working behind-the-scenes as an executive producer.
