From Game of Thrones' High Sparrow to Pirates of The Caribbean's Governor Swan, Pryce will be known by many names to viewers of different ages. He's had roles in numerous high profile films, from Carrington and Evita to Terry Gilliam's Brazil and Bond flick Tomorrow Never Dies.

The Welsh actor and singer is a multi award winning, with Tony Awards and Olivier Awards to his name. Oh, and you might have spotted him in recent BBC Christmas special To Walk Invisible as the Bronte sisters' father, Patrick.

Thorne Geary – Jefferson Hall

Zilpha's husband Thorne seems a rather strict man, and is not at all happy when his brother-in-law wanders back into their lives...

Vikings star Hall, like many of his Taboo cast mates, was also in Game of Thrones. He plated Hugh of the Vale in two episodes of the HBO drama.

You might also recognise him from Doctors, Casualty and Holby City, or CBBC's own Wizards vs Aliens.

Nicholas Woodeson - Robert Thoyt

Thoyt is the Delaney family lawyer, who delivers news of James' inheritance to both his client and the East India Company

He played Posca, the personal slave, confidant and aide-de-camp of Julius Caesar in BBC and HBO's Rome and also popped up in Borgen, Ripper Street and Mapp and Lucia.
