Who does he play? Chief Inspector Heat, who despises anarchists and regards them as amateurs, unlike burglars who he sees as professionals and worthy adversaries.
Where do I recognise him from? Another This is England veteran, whose other work includes Snatch, Public Enemies and the Pirates of the Caribbean films.
What does he think of the part? “I was asked not to approach it like a period drama and it gave me a little sigh of relief because in my mind I’m thinking: ‘It is all going to be petticoats!’ So it was about showing real people in these situations…”
Ian Hart
Who does he play? The Professor, so-called as he was a lab technician, who carries a bomb under his coat which can be detonated within twenty seconds. He is the most nihilistic member of the anarchists.
Where do I recognise him from? This Liverpudlian has played John Lennon three times, so you might have seen him in Backbeat, The Hours and Times or Snodgrass.
Tom Goodman-Hill
Who does he play? Assistant Commissioner Stone: Scotland Yard. He is an executive rank police officer with ambition, and wants to give the Home Secretary answers about the rise of anarchism. But he wants to preserve his position in society almost as much.
Where do I recognise him from? He is known for The Imitation Game, Everest, and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
