Young Fergus – Romann Berux
It’s a long way from the brothels of France young Fergus has come. He’s now living at Lallybroch with the Murrays and is eager to fight for Scotland against the British
French-born Romann Berrux made his acting debut in Marc Esposito’s feature film Le Coeur des Hommes 2. He has had several television roles including playing the son of Philippe Lefebvre in Detectives for several years.
Mary McNab – Emma Campbell-Jones
Mary is a midwife and good friend to Jenny, who helps her around the house at Lallybroch
Emma Campbell-Jones trained at the Central London School of Speech and Drama and has been working in film, television and theatre since 2005. Recent television credits include a recurring role in the BBC show Doctors as well as guest roles in Holby City, Silent Witness, Law & Order and Doctor Who special, The Night of The Doctor, in which she played Cass.
Murtagh Fraser – Duncan Lacroix
Jamie’s godfather was last seen on the battlefield at Culloden – has he managed to survive?
Seasoned star of stage and screen Duncan Lacroix has starred in Vikings, Game of Thrones, Reign, Primeval, A Terrible Beauty and RTE Television’s Cromwell in Ireland.
Wil Johnson – Joe Abernathy
Joe and Claire strike up a very important friendship when they meet at medical school
Johnson’s TV credits include recurring roles in Waterloo Road, Holby City, Cracker, Babyfather and Waking the Dead. He will soon be seen in Kit Monkham’s MacBeth and was also in Noel Clarke’s Adulthood.

Millie Nelson – Kimberley Nixon
Claire’s new neighbour does her best to help her settle in to her new life in Boston
Nixon is probably best known for playing Josie in Channel 4’s university comedy Fresh Meat, but she’s also had roles in BBC comedy Hebburn, Sky medical drama Critical, BBC1 police drama New Blood and the second series of Ordinary Lies.
