Coronation Street fans will recognise Craig Gazey as Graeme Proctor, who was seen on the cobbles from 2008 until 2011. Gazey’s since gone back to the theatre and has performed in shows including Third Floor, Funny Peculiar and The Full Monty. At the end of last year the actor starred in The Hypochondriac with Sir Tony Robinson and Imogen Stubbs at the Theatre Royal in Bath.

Kimberly Wyatt

Singer and dancer Kimberly Wyatt is a former member of The Pussycat Dolls. She’s since appeared in Channel 4’s winter sports-themed reality show The Jump and recently joined a starry line-up for BBC Three’s improvised cop drama Murder in Successville. Wyatt proved she was made of pretty stern stuff out on the slopes, so she’ll be able to handle the heat in the kitchen.

Andy Akinwolere

Andy Akinwolere rose to fame on BBC’s Blue Peter where he was part of the presenting team from 2006 to 2011. He’s since gone on to host shows including Fort Boyard: Ultimate Challenge and BBC’s local news-focussed series Inside Out for the West Midlands. With all of his Blue Peter experience, perhaps Andy will arrive with something he made earlier?

Arlene Phillips

The professional dancer, choreographer and theatre director has written her own series of books, launched a fashion and jewellery range, and appeared on various shows, including Loose Women. The MasterChef kitchen should be a doddle, right?
