Love Island summer 2023: Release date for season 10
The summer season is officially underway!
Love Island summer 2023 is in full swing, and it's fair to say the new season hasn't been short of drama so far.
Episode 26 saw a series of rows erupt in the villa after Scott van der Sluis discovered that the group had been chatting about his relationship with Catherine Agbaje behind his back – and gathered the entire villa around the firepit to confront them.
Things quickly escalated when Tyrique Hyde then accused Scott of "playing a game" and “over exaggerating" his feelings for Catherine.
But Tyrique and Scott weren't the only contestants to clash, with Kady McDermott and Whitney Adebayo also butting heads over the latter's interest in Kady's partner Zachariah Noble.
And with Casa Amor on its way, and the line-up for the show's infamous twist confirmed, it looks like the drama is only just getting started.
Perhaps most notably, Zach's ex Molly Marsh is on her way back to the villa to take part in Casa Amor, which could leave Zach in a bit of a pickle.
Of course, love isn't the only thing on the cards, of course, with the cast also hoping to join past winners such as Amber Gill, Kem Cetinay and Dani Dyer to take home the huge cash prize!
If you're thinking it hasn't been long since Love Island was last on our screens, you're right as the recent winter season saw Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan crowned the winners, becoming the first Casa Amor couple in the show’s history to take the prize money.
It wouldn't be a series of Love Island without the witty commentary of Iain Stirling. The comedian and husband of previous Love Island host Laura Whitmore has been providing the witty voiceover for all the action since 2015.
Ahead of season 10, we spoke to Iain who revealed the pressure of narrating the ITV2 dating show.
As we strap in for another rollercoaster ride of a Love Island series, here's everything you need to know about Love Island season 10, from the start date and time to the filming location and even how to apply.

ITV officially commissioned Love Island for seasons 9 and 10 in June last year, with ITV2's director of reality commissioning and controller Paul Mortimer saying: "Rather than just serving up a Summer of Love, we thought we’d make 2023 the Year of Love with two full series of the show."

Where is Love Island filmed?
Love Island's summer seasons tend to be filmed in Mallorca, with the last five seasons taking contestants to a villa in Sant Llorenç des Cardassar.
The villa featured in season 8 was reportedly worth more than £2 million, with executive producer Mike Spencer saying that it had the "biggest bedroom" ever shown on the reality series.
"So, basically the idea behind this was we wanted to take it back to what it used to be in the early series, where they're opposite each other. So, yeah, it has that because I think there's so much more banter when you're cross and going to bed at night," he said.
Love Island relocated to South Africa for the winter season, with the season 9 islanders moving into Ludus Magnus, a villa near Cape Town with an Olympic-sized pool.
Love Island airs on ITV2 at 9pm. You can watch all previous seasons of Love Island on BritBox – you can sign up for a 7-day free trial.
