The smily Springwatch star is BBC heartland so would certainly go down well with Strictly viewers – and apparently she's a big fan and has been in the frame before.

"Michaela loves the show. She has always loved the idea of being a contestant on Strictly," a source tells RadioTimes.com, revealing that "they have certainly considered her in the past."

Charlotte Crosby

She's just quit rambunctious reality show Geordie Shore and now Charlotte Crosby is looking for a new challenge. The self-confessed Strictly fan is excited about the prospect of taking part and has even asked fans to start a petition supporting her.

Whether she's quite BBC material is another matter. Then again, if she did make it to the Strictly dance floor, perhaps she could bring some of the moves from her 3 Minute Bum Blitz video.
