35 actors who have travelled between the universes of Doctor Who and Star Wars
From the Tardis to the Death Star, these actors have clocked up appearances in both sci-fi classics
22. Hugh Quarshie
He’s probably better known for his stint as Ric Griffin in Holby City, but Quarshie has played significant roles in both series. He played the heroic Captain Panaka in 1999's The Phantom Menace, and rolled out his American accent again for Doctor Who’s Daleks in Manhattan/Evolution of the Daleks.
23. Garrick Hagon
Hagon (who played Luke Skywalker’s childhood friend and ill-fated rebel pilot Biggs Darklighter in Star Wars: A New Hope) has popped up in Doctor Who twice – once as a rebellious Solonian in 1972’s The Mutants, and as an undertaker for 2012 Western A Town Called Mercy.
24. Jeremy Bulloch
Bulloch’s small role as bounty hunter Boba Fett in the original Star Wars trilogy made him a cult hit with fans, with the actor later returning (and showing his face) to play Captain Colton in 2005’s Revenge of the Sith. And he can match his two appearances with Doctor Who roles – he played a Xeron rebel in William Hartnell serial The Space Museum, and later returned as a servant in The Time Warrior when Jon Pertwee’s Third Doctor battled the Sontarans in their first story.
25. Geraldine James
The veteran actress makes a brief appearance as a Blue Squadron pilot in Rogue One and voices archivist Chi in Doctor Who audio adventures The Battle and Consequences.
