Mackenzie Davis – Yorkie
Who does she play?
The socially awkward and inexperienced Yorkie, a character who doesn’t quite blend into San Junipero.
Where have I seen her?
She played Mindy Parker, the satellite engineer who first spots the abandoned Matt Damon in The Martian. She also had a small role as Chelsea in Zac Efron flick That Awkward Moment.
Gugu Mbatha-Raw – Kelly
Who does she play?
The fun-loving Kelly who’s captured everyone’s eye in San Junipero.
Where have I seen her?
Her biggest role was in 2014 film Beyond the Light as Noni, the superstar singer. She’s also done plenty of British TV too: she’s been in Doctor Who (as Tish Jones, sister of Doctor assistant Martha Jones), Bonekickers (Viv Davis) and series five of Spooks (Jenny).
