Blackburn Rovers are looking to continue their unbeaten start to the Championship season when they welcome Queens Park Rangers to Ewood Park this weekend.

John Eustace's outfit are one of three teams yet to taste defeat, after last Sunday's stalemate against Lancashire rivals Preston North End took their record to three wins and three draws to leave them sitting fourth in the table.

The derby draw was overshadowed by a melee in which Owen Beck was allegedly bitten by Preston forward Milutin Osmajić following the Liverpool loanee's sending off.

Rovers' form is a far cry from last season's struggles, and this is the sort of game they need to be winning if they are to sustain their strong start, although QPR have also developed a habit of avoiding defeat, as they are unbeaten since a 3-1 loss to West Bromwich Albion on the opening day.

Despite last Saturday's 1-1 draw with Millwall making it seven points from their last five games, Hoops boss Martí Cifuentes was left less than impressed by his side's display, and he will be eager to see improvements.
