Sunderland, the surprise package in the Championship this season, return to action on Sunday as they travel to Hull.

The Black Cats, who finished 16th in the Championship last season, have been brilliant under Régis Le Bris, and they've won six, drawn one and lost just two of their nine outings so far this campaign to leave them fighting for top spot in the table.

Sunderland played out a 2-2 draw against title-chasing Leeds before the international break, and they will fancy their chances of getting another three points on the board as they travel to mid-table Hull.

Le Bris is hoping to guide his side to the Premier League for the first time since the 2016-17 season, which is also the last time Hull played in the top flight.

Hull find themselves in 13th place in the Championship after winning just three of their nine games.

They've struggled to find form under Tim Walter, and they come into Sunday's clash on the back of their horror 4-0 defeat at Norwich before the international break.
