England face Israel for the second time in the Under 21 European Championships 2023, with just four teams remaining at the semi-final stage.

The Young Lions dispatched Portugal 1-0 thanks to a strike from Anthony Gordon to secure safe passage through the quarter-finals.

Boss Lee Carsley will be delighted that his hotshots are yet to concede in the tournament so far - with three 2-0 victories to their name in the group stage.

Israel were the opponents during one of those encounters as Gordon found the net before Emile Smith Rowe clinched victory for England.

Fans will be excited to see whether the next-gen stars can go all the way and give the nation something to cheer ahead of the Women's World Cup starting later in July.
