Leicester City will hope to increase their healthy advantage in the Championship promotion spots when they welcome surprise package Preston North End to the King Power Stadium.

The Foxes have made a superb start to the season with eight wins from nine games, and another victory would build a seven-point buffer to third-placed Preston, who are unbeaten in four away games this term.

Jamie Vardy scored for the second match in a row in Sunday's 4-1 thumping of Blackburn Rovers, but Enzo Maresca has made full use of his squad this term and could restore fellow striker Kelechi Iheanacho to the starting XI.

Preston fell to their first defeat of the campaign in surprising fashion on Saturday, as they suffered a 4-0 loss to West Brom on home soil, and manager Ryan Lowe will be desperate to see his side bounce back.

It could prove to be a tense, low-scoring affair at the King Power, as Leicester have scored just five goals on home soil and the visitors have conceded just twice on the road.
