Liverpool, the most successful team in Carabao Cup history, enter the competition on Wednesday as the Reds host Premier League rivals West Ham at Anfield.

Liverpool have lifted the trophy a record 10 times, with the Merseyside club beating Chelsea in last season's final to scoop Jürgen Klopp's last piece of silverware before his departure.

Arne Slot replaced Klopp in the summer, and he's had a decent start to life at Liverpool, including hammering Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford before winning 3-1 against AC Milan at the San Siro in the Champions League.

Slot and his Liverpool players will fancy their chances of adding to their 10 successes in the competition this season, but first they'll have to get past Julen Lopetegui's West Ham side on Wednesday.

West Ham, who are yet to win the Carabao Cup, beat Bournemouth in the second round, with Jarrod Bowen's 88th-minute goal booking their spot in the third round.
