Old Trafford plays host to the headline clash of the Premier League weekend as Manchester United welcome rivals Manchester City on Sunday.

Though both clubs have endured disappointing seasons, with Man Utd languishing in the bottom half of the table and the visitors battling for fifth place, the Manchester derby still means everything.

The Red Devils have been at their best under Ruben Amorim against top opposition and won at the Etihad in December, but will be without their match-winner on that day, Amad Diallo, who has missed the latter part of 2024/25 due to injury.

Man City have now lost back-to-back games against their rivals, after the shock defeat in last year's FA Cup final, and will be desperate to reclaim the local bragging rights.

Not only that, but Amorim is one of few managers to have a winning record against Pep Guardiola – something the Spaniard will want to put right when they meet again this weekend.
