Norwich City are looking to cut the gap to the play-off places when they welcome struggling Oxford United to Carrow Road on Friday.

The race to reach the end-of-season lottery is intensifying as we enter the last quarter of the Championship campaign, and the 11th-placed Canaries are just four points behind West Bromwich Albion in sixth.

Momentum could be key, and Johannes Hoff Thorup's side have a bit of it on their side thanks to a three-game unbeaten run that included a 4-2 victory over Stoke City in their latest home fixture last month.

Oxford, in stark contrast, are winless from their last seven games, and their buffer to the relegation zone has been cut to seven points.

Gary Rowett's side have lost their last three games, but would complete the double over Norwich if they emerge with all three points having beaten the Canaries on the opening day of the campaign.
