West Brom are looking to get one over Championship promotion rivals Leeds United and make it two wins from two league games this weekend.

The Baggies reached the play-offs in the 2023/24 season, and kicked off their latest push to return to the Premier League with an impressive 3-1 victory at QPR as striker Josh Maja hit a hat-trick last weekend.

Boss Carlos Corberán is likely to revert to the XI that started at Loftus Road, because his squad players failed to shine in a shock 2-1 defeat to League Two outfit Fleetwood Town in the first round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.

Leeds, last season's beaten play-off finalists, were held to a 3-3 draw by newly-promoted Portsmouth at Elland Road on the opening weekend of the season, as Brenden Aaronson bagged a late equaliser before missing a glorious chance to snatch all three points at the death.

Whites head coach Daniel Farke also paid the price for ringing the changes in his side's midweek Carabao Cup tie, as they crashed to a 3-0 defeat to Championship rivals Middlesbrough on home soil.
