The 2024/25 Premier League season is back in full swing which means all eyes are now on Sky Sports.

The broadcaster remains the top spot for English football, alongside TNT Sports and – to a lesser extent – Amazon Prime Video, while also serving up dozens of other sports across its channels.

From darts to horse racing, NFL to cricket, and of course, the hugely tense F1 season, there's a whole host of live events to get stuck into – and now you can watch all of this without breaking the bank.

It used to be that Sky Sports packages were very much for subscribers only, and would-be viewers were forced to take on long-term contracts if they wanted the full Sky Sports experience. Now, thanks to the growing competition in the TV and streaming market, there are more options open to those who want Sky Sports.

For example, NOW (formerly NOW TV) offers viewers the option to grab short-term passes, or you can grab sport-specific packages from Sky itself. In short, it's so much more flexible now if you want to watch your favourite team or athlete.

There are one or two other ways to save money on Sky Sports, and we've picked out some of the best options to ensure you get the best value for money possible.
