When does Roger Federer play next at Wimbledon 2021? Next match details revealed
Who does the eight-time Wimbledon champion face next at SW19?
While Novak Djokovic is still the favourite to win Wimbledon 2021, his main rival Roger Federer is growing in strength and resolve as the tournament continues. He made light work of his fourth round match against No.23 seed Lorenzo Sonego and will hope for a similarly convincing victory in his quarter final.
Federer doesn't know who he will be playing yet, as No.2 seed Daniil Medvedev is still to finish his clash with Hubert Hurkacz. This is good news for the Swiss star - not only will his opponent not benefit from a day of rest, but there's also a chance the formidable Medvedev is on course for a shock defeat, as the match edges towards five sets. This would be a relief for Federer, who is seeded sixth.
With a ninth Wimbledon title in his sights, and only three matches left to play, Federer will need to keep his cool, but he will go into the quarter final as the favourite, whomever he faces.

When does Roger Federer play next at Wimbledon?
Federer continues his bid for a ninth Wimbledon title tomorrow, Wednesday 7th July. The match is likely to be played on Centre Court, but this is still to be confirmed and we don't have a start time yet.
Federer will play the winner of Daniil Medvedev vs Hubert Hurkacz, which was interrupted by rain and finishes up on Centre Court at 1:30pm today.
Federer is attempting to win his 21st grand slam title, to take him out in front of Rafael Nadal in the standings, but he faces a tough draw, and is certainly not gliding through with as much ease as his rival, reigning champion Novak Djokovic .
The 39-year old Swiss star and the 34-year old Serbian are on opposite sides of the Wimbledon 2021 draw and still look set for another classic Wimbledon final, which would be a rematch of 2019's nail-biting showdown.
