Disney Plus has had a big year so far, with Andor season 2 being the latest high-profile original series to land on the service – and is instantly among its most acclaimed output thus far.

The Star Wars prequel follows Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) in the early days of the rebellion, revealing the formative experiences that transformed him into the hardened operative we meet in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

But the series also takes viewers on a tour of the inner workings of the Empire, detailing the cruel actions of the galactic regime and the surprising perpetrators behind them.

Andor co-star Denise Gough is all over Disney Plus at the moment, as the Irish actor also currently stars in five-part thriller The Stolen Girl, which is a delight for fans of mysterious and pulpy crime dramas.

Other recent hits include Daredevil: Born Again, Paradise, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, High Potential and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, with plenty more coming down the pipeline in the month ahead.
