New on Netflix UK April 2025: All the upcoming shows and films
It's another busy month for the streaming service.
There are lots of buzzy new titles on their way to Netflix this April, including the highly anticipated fifth and final instalment of You, which will see Penn Badgley's Joe Goldberg return to his native New York – with some ghosts from his past still lingering around.
This month also sees the arrival of a new batch of Black Mirror episodes, once again from the mind of Charlie Brooker, promising to be just as twisted and star-studded as ever, featuring the likes of Paul Giamatti, Issa Rae, Tracee Ellis Ross and more.
It's quite the month for documentaries, as there are some big releases on the horizon, including The Clubhouse: A Year with the Red Sox, The Diamond Heist and Oklahoma City Bombing: American Terror.
Meanwhile, when it comes to film, there are some big acquired titles coming to the streamer, including Don't Worry Darling, The Place Beyond the Pines, Paddington in Peru and Total Recall.
Other shows on the way in April include Pulse, The Glass Dome and Chef's Table: Legends.

Tuesday 1st April
- P-Valley seasons 1-2 – Romantic drama series about a vibrant strip club in the Mississippi Delta, following the lives of dancers who are grappling with big dreams and stark realities.
- Naruto season 5 – Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto
- Nimesh Patel: Instant Karma – Comedian and writer Nimesh Patel premieres his new stand-up special, which digs deep into his experience of growing up as a first-generation Indian American.
- The Place Beyond the Pines (2012) – Film starring Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper and Eva Mendes following a stunt rider turns into a robber in order to lead a happy life with his child and lover and grabs the attention of a police officer.
- Mr Monk’s Last Case: A Monk Movie (2023) – Tony Shalhoub returns in the iconic role as private detective Monk, who steps out of retirement as his stepdaughter's wedding turns tragic when her fiancé dies in a bungee jumping accident.
Wednesday 2nd April
- Don’t Worry Darling (2022) – Thriller film starring Florence Pugh, Chris Pine and Harry Styles in a seemingly idyllic town called Victory which starts to unfurl as its residents start to question their surroundings.
- Banger – When cops recruit a has-been DJ to bust a quirky criminal gang with ties to his rival, he spots a chance to mix his way back to the top with a banger.
- Love on the Spectrum (Season 3) – The Emmy award-winning series returns, following people on the autism spectrum as they navigate the world of dating and relationships.
- Garnachas: Glorious Street Food! (Limited Series) – An exploration of Mexico's street food scene.
Thursday 3rd April
- Devil May Cry (Season 1) – Animated adaptation of the popular Capcom game which follows orphaned demon-hunter-for-hire Dante, who is unaware that the fate of both worlds hangs around his neck.
- Pulse – Netflix's first original medical procedural drama centred on Miami’s busiest Level 1 Trauma Center.
- State of the Union seasons 1-2 – British comedy series starring Chris O'Dowd, Brendan Gleeson and Rosamund Pike which follows a failing couple in the midst of reviving their marriage.
Friday 4th April
- Karma – In this high-tension South Korean crime thriller, six people are caught in an unbreakable karmic loop, each bound by reckless choices that spiral out of control.
- Fast X (2023) – Tenth instalment of the Fast & Furious franchise which follows Dom Toretto as he takes on the most lethal opponent they've ever faced.
- Test (2025) – Netflix original film following that follows three people who witness their worlds collide during a legendary international cricket test match in Chennai.
- Ripper Street seasons 1-5 – British mystery drama starring Matthew Macfadyen, MyAnna Buring and Jerome Flynn, which picks up six months after the last murder by Jack the Ripper when a string of new deaths sets off suspicions that he could be back.
- Total Recall (1990) – Sci-fi action film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as a factory worker who soon learns that a false memory has been planted into his brain but the people responsible want him dead.
Tuesday 8th April
- How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast) season 4 – German dark comedy that follows Moritz, who is released from prison after four years and can finally start his legal business.
- Paddington in Peru (2024) – Family film starring Ben Whishaw, Antonio Banderas and more. When Paddington discovers his beloved aunt has gone missing from the Home for Retired Bears, he and the Brown family head to the jungles of Peru to find her.
- Kian’s Bizzare B&B season 1 – On a remote island, Kian84 hosts a quirky B&B escape, where BTS' Jin and Ji Ye-eun lead guests through playful exploits and delightful chaos.
- The Clubhouse: A Year with the Red Sox – This immersive series grants unprecedented access to one of sport's most historic teams: the Boston Red Sox.
Wednesday 9th April
- Bad Influence: The Dark Side of Kidfluencing – This explosive docuseries explores the shadowy world of child influencers.
- The Dad Quest (2025) – Mexican comedy film. When a father-son duo learns that they may not be biologically related, the two embark on a wild adventure through Mexico to find the truth.

Thursday 10th April
- A Queen’s Runway (2025) – Documentary about the Miss Universe Philippines pageant, digging into the stories of the contestants.
- North of North – Netflix original comedy following a young Inuk woman who wants to build a new future for herself after a spontaneous — and extremely public — exit from her marriage.
- Black Mirror season 7 – Charlie Brooker's dark, satirical anthology series returns with six brand new episodes, including a sequel to the sci-fi adventure USS Callister.
- Moonrise season 1 – Japanese anime series centring on a carefree heir who becomes the prime suspect and joins a special military unit to find the true mastermind on the Moon.
Friday 11th April
- The Gardener – A Spanish Netflix original series which follows a hitman turned gardener who falls for his next target.
Tuesday 15th April
- The Glass Dome – Swedish crime thriller created by author Camilla Läckberg. When her friend's daughter goes missing, criminologist Lejla joins the search — and must confront the haunting trauma of her own childhood abduction.
- Behind the Curtain: Stranger Things The First Shadow – With special behind-the-scenes access, follow the cast and crew of Stranger Things: The First Shadow as they race against time to prepare the ambitious, boundary-pushing stage show for its West End debut amid mounting fan and critic anticipation.
Wednesday 16th April
- Project UFO – Polish limited series inspired by an alleged UFO landing.
- The Diamond Heist – Three-part documentary series executive produced by Guy Ritchie which tells the tale of a group of South-East London criminals who tried to orchestrate the most audacious heist of all time: using a bulldozer to raid the Millennium Dome in order to steal some invaluable diamonds.
Thursday 17th April
- Ransom Canyon – Drama series centring on three ranching family dynasties who are locked in a contest for control of the land, their lives and legacies are threatened by outside forces intent on destroying their way of life.
Friday 18th April
- iHostage (2025) – Gripping thriller inspired by the shocking 2022 hostage crisis at Amsterdam's Apple Store.
- Oklahoma City Bombing: American Terror – This gripping documentary revisits the shocking 1995 bombing of an Oklahoma City federal building, the deadliest act of domestic terrorism in US history.
Monday 21st April
- Pangolin: Kulu’s Journey – From the Academy Award-winning director of My Octopus Teacher, this documentary film follows a man who finds new purpose when he helps rescue a baby pangolin, one of the most trafficked animals in the world, in a sting operation in South Africa.
Wednesday 23rd April
- Bullet Train Explosion (2025) – A reboot of the original movie The Bullet Train, from 50 years ago which inspired the Hollywood blockbuster Speed.
- A Tragedy Foretold: Flight 3054 – This documentary series takes an in-depth look at the aftermath of the 2007 accident at Congonhas Airport in São Paulo. The disaster, which claimed 199 lives, left a lasting impact on Brazilian aviation history.
- Carlos Alcaraz: My Way – Documentary following Carlos Alcaraz during the 2024 season, getting closer to the young prodigy who is revolutionising the world of sports.
Thursday 24th April
- You season 5 – The fifth and final season of the Penn Badgley drama, this time following Joe Goldberg as he returns to New York to enjoy his seemingly happily ever after.
Friday 25th April
- Havoc – Tom Hardy stars in this new action thriller. After a drug deal gone wrong, a bruised detective must fight his way through a criminal underworld to rescue a politician's estranged son, while unravelling a deep web of corruption and conspiracy that ensnares his entire city.
Monday 28th April
- Chef's Table: Legends – The iconic series celebrates four culinary giants — Jamie Oliver, José Andrés, Alice Waters and Thomas Keller — who changed how the world eats.
Wednesday 30th April
- Asterix & Obelix: The Big Fight season 1 – When their druid forgets how to prepare the magic potion, Asterix and Obelix must defend the Gauls as Caesar plots to use an ancient law against them.
- Turning Point: The Vietnam War – Documentary which offers an unfiltered look at one of the most defining and divisive conflicts in modern history and the profound, lasting impact it has had on America’s global identity.
- The Eternaut – An Argentian sci-fi series centring around a group of survivors of a deadly snowfall powered by an alien invasion.
